Brent Baker is the President of Byron Bank. He graduated from the University of Iowa in 1992. Brent completed the Community Bankers of Illinois School for Community Bankers, and has been the Branch Manager for our Poplar Grove location. He has been an integral part of our commercial and mortgage lending areas for the past ten years. Mike Kohlstedt graduated from the University of Platteville in 1981 and has his BS in Ag Business. Mike is currently the Senior Vice President - Commercial Loans of Byron Bank and is well known and active in the community. Rhonda Sunden has over 32 years of commercial lending, commercial banking, and portfolio management. She has held various executive level positions through her career. Rhonda is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, majoring in business. She also attended the American Bankers Association (ABA) National Commercial Lending School and the ABA Financial Statement Analysis Workshop. Rhonda’s long-time leadership and vast experience and expertise will aid in serving the needs of Byron Bank customers. She is active in the community, holding a board position at Patriot’s Gateway and is a member of Rockford Downtown Rotary Club. Rhonda has been involved in various organizations including Women of Today’s Manufacturing, Rockford Symphony Orchestra, Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois, Junior Achievement, IL Executive Mansion, and United Way.
Doug Knodle is new to Byron Bank after spending 20 years working in the fulfillment industry. He grew up in the area and lives in Byron. Doug works closely with the commercial loan officers and is looked upon for his loan analysis ability. Doug is a member of the Rotary Club of Byron. He is also on the board at All Saints Lutheran Church in Byron and volunteers for Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon.
