All Accounts Receive the Following Free:

Penny Wise:

  • Free checking customized for the low-transaction customer. No balance requirement and no service fee, if you have less than 30 checks per month. (A $6.00 service fee is charged if you have over 30 checks).

Personal:

  • Free checking if you maintain a minimum balance of $300. (A $5.00 service fee is charged if your balance falls below $300).
  • Unlimited transaction privilege and your statement can be combined with your other accounts.
  • A Personal Credit Line (PCL) may be attached to your account to avoid being overdrawn. (Available if qualified).

Student and Senior (Free):

  • Byron Bank knows there are times in your life when less cash is available. We offer free checking to students under 23 years of age and to those over 60 years of age.
  • Personal checking available.

Not-For-Profit (Free):

  • If your organization is not-for-profit and is set up to help others, Byron Bank will give your group free checking. We are very community minded and hope this helps your church or group make and keep extra money. Remind your members of this service when they are choosing a personal bank or are investing your organization's money.
  • Personal checking available.

Money Market:

  • A combined checking and savings account that lets you earn a higher interest rate, but keeps your funds available for easy access. A good stepping stone for saving to invest.
  • You are limited to three checks per month that are free, but you do have unlimited withdrawals at the bank.
  • The rate structure is set up based on three tiers: ($2,500 to $25,000)($25,001 to $100,000)(over $100,000). Your interest rate will be higher the more money you have on deposit. There will be a small fee if your minimum balance falls below $2500.
